Itinerary
Day 1: KUALA LUMPUR - ALGIERS
Arrive at Houari Boumediene Airport in Algiers and transfer to hotel. After checking in, explore the city center, visiting the beautiful Hamma Garden and the famous Martyrs' Memorial. Have dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: ALGIERS - TIPAZA - ALGIERS
After breakfast, visit the historic Casbah of Algiers, starting with the Palace of the Dey and Ketchaoua Mosque. See the statue of El Amir Abdelkader and visit the Notre Dame d’Afrique church. After lunch, explore Djamaa al Djazair Mosque and travel to Tipaza to see Roman ruins. Return to Algiers for overnight night at hotel.
Day 3: ALGIERS – DJÉMILA
Have breakfast and check-out, then transfer to Djemila to visit the Archaeological Museum and the Roman ruins. After that, have lunch at a local restaurant and, if time allows, explore the Rhumel Gorges and Boulevard of the Abyss. Check-in to a hotel for overnight.
Day 4: DJÉMILA – CONSTANTINE
After breakfast , travel to Constantine and visit the Monument to the Dead and walk across the Sidi M’cid Bridge. After lunch, explore the Palace of the Bey, Cirta Museum, Bardo Park, and other city landmarks like the theater and the Emir Abdelkader Mosque. Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 5: CONSTANTINE – TOZEUR, TUNISIA
After breakfast and check-out, leave Algeria and cross into Tunisia. Arrive in Tozeur, a city near the Sahara Desert, known for its palm groves. Have dinner and check-in hotel for overnight.
Day 6: TOZEUR – DOUZ
After breakfast and check-out, explore the natural beauty of southern Tunisia, visiting the canyons of Tamerza and Chebika Waterfalls. Take a jeep ride into the Sahara Desert and visit Ong Jemal, a famous Star Wars filming site. After lunch, will travel to Douz and enjoy a camel or ATV ride on the dunes (own expense). Check-in hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: DOUZ – MATMATA – EL JEM – SOUSSE
After breakfast and check-out, visit Matmata to see traditional underground Berber homes. Then travel to El Jem for lunch and visit the El Jem Colosseum. After that, head to Sousse, a coastal city, and explore its old Medina and the scenic El Kantaoui port. Check-in for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: SOUSSE – KAIROUAN – HAMMAMET
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Kairouan, one of the holiest cities in North Africa. Explore the Great Mosque, Aghlabide Basin, and Sidi Saheb Mausoleum. After lunch, travel to Hammamet, a beach town famous for jasmine and water sports. Then visit both the old and new Medinas and proceed for check-in at hotel for overnight and dinner.
Day 9: HAMMAMET – TUNIS – SIDI BOU SAID - KUALA LUMPUR
After breakfast, check-out, On the last day, will visit the old Medina of Tunis and then head to the romantic blue-and-white town of Sidi Bou Said. After lunch, transfer to the airport for departure.
Day 10: KUALA LUMPUR ARRIVAL
